Benjamin T. Tuttle is a Geographer and the CTO at Arturo.ai. He holds a BA in Geography and a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder and an MS in GIS and PhD in Geography from the University of Denver. His research interests include human environment interactions, nighttime satellite imagery, automated/predictive analytics, and the intersection of geography and technology. Ben is currently focused on the use of AI/ML for analysis of geospatial data to derive near real time insights about the world. He has authored and co-authored papers in journals including PE&RS, Geography Compass, GeoJournal, Environmental Management, and Remote Sensing of Environment.

Mr. Wise formed Dean Wise LLC in February 2017 to provide strategic advisory services to the transportation, logistics and infrastructure sector, with an emphasis on transformational technologies. Previously, Mr. Wise was Vice President of Network Strategy at BNSF Railway. BNSF Railway is one of North America’s leading freight transportation companies operating on 32,500 route miles of track in 28 states and three Canadian provinces, integral to the global supply chains of mining, energy, utility, agricultural, industrial, and consumer products industries. Joining BNSF in February 2010, coincident with Berkshire Hathaway’s acquisition of the company, Dean oversaw BNSF’s strategy process, transformational technology initiative, regional franchise development, shortline network (200 rail feeder lines), public-private partnerships (PPP), rail line sales and dispositions, and development of right-of-way for non-freight rail uses including fiber optics, cell towers, and electric transmission lines.

Prior to his 7 years at BNSF, Dean had 32 years of consulting and industry experience. From 1995 to 2010, he served as president and managing partner at Norbridge, Inc., a management consulting firm focusing on the freight transport and logistics industry, based in Concord, MA. Before joining Norbridge, he was a vice president at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) in Lexington, MA, (1983-1995). Dean’s prior experience also includes management positions at Conrail Corporation and Southern Pacific Transportation Company.

Janine Yoong is a geospatial professional with a focus on collection and processing of street-level imagery using machine learning. Janine was the Chief Operating Officer at Mapillary, a computer vision platform for mapping acquired by Facebook in June 2020. At Mapillary, Janine worked with mapping and navigation platforms, government agencies, geospatial service providers, NGOs, and location-based apps to get the most out of street-level imagery. Before Mapillary, Janine worked on strategic partnerships at Google and Yahoo, then scaled two startups toward successful exits. Janine is an advocate for collaborative use of technology for sustainable cities. Janine currently leads location AR partnerships at Snapchat.

Andrew oversees Global Impact Initiatives at Planet, working to ensure that the company’s data, products and services achieve their highest humanitarian, sustainable development and scientific potential. He works closely with all parts of the company and with the United Nations, NGOs, philanthropies, conservation organizations, and disaster response entities to incubate and deliver new forms of social and environmental impact. Andrew is also the author of the bestselling book Resilience: Why Things Bounce Back. He received a BA in Cognitive and Computer Science at Vassar College, and did graduate studies in foresight at the University of Houston.
