My name is Parth Bhatt and I am from India. I did my Masters in Geographical Information Science at Michigan Technological University. At present, I am a 3rd year Ph.D. Candidate at Michigan Tech. I work on classifying complex and diverse landscape of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and Manned Aircraft dataset such as NAIP. Before coming to the United States in 2016, I was working at Indian Space Agency in India. I have been working in the field of Remote Sensing and GIS from the past 6 years. I love looking at satellite imageries and exploring how best remote sensing products can be utilized to help communities around the world. I believe Remote Sensing and GIS will be the answer to many of our future problems and will become a key component of our daily life to help make decisions. Along with Remote Sensing and GIS, I hold a keen interest in Poetry.
